Squares from America on Friday and some details about Inside Crochet.

Hi Everyone!

'An Angel' sent these all the way from America today. I am so.....grateful!

Thank you 'Angel' USA. Beautiful Squares arrived today.

These are all such beautiful Squares. On the top photo my favourite of course is the 'sun'. Isn't it just so cute!

The photo at the bottom my favourite on this one is the purple Square bottom right. They are made with love and I am truly grateful! Thank you!

If anyone wants a copy of the 'Inside Crochet' Magazine, I have been buying them from W.H. Smith every now and then, but I have found out that they are available digitally. So why not try the link out. http://www.yudu.com/ it's quite a good magazine.

A short post today I have to sort my Squares out this evening. There are such a lot!!! Imagine 5 sets of Squares (well 5 1/2 actually!) all over your Lounge floor!! They were on the floor last night as well. I did plan them all out, but no I have to change them tonight. Now I'm waiting for Little Miss Twin (1) to go out clubbing and then I can have a good go at them. Let's say quite a Challenge Ladies for me I have to say! But I'll be okay once I get going. A little bit daunting.......

1st March to 30th November 2016. Thank you.

I am often asked if there are 'collection points' around the country. Some Ladies find the cost of postage too expensive. There is a way round this. Why not make your Sunshine Blanket and donate it to your 'local' Care Home? If you want to contact me for a a pdf 'label' I will willingly send it to you. You can do this on behalf of our Group 'SIBOL' if that would help you. On the understanding that you would send me a photo of your blanket and the name of the Home where you have donated it to. I can then count this in to our totals.

Lists of Care Homes are available by contacting me.

This would be a great way of getting Sunshine Blankets to the Elderly in other parts of the country and not just 'Birmingham'.

The Lost Stash by Sally 'Chunky Hooker'.

Whilst rummaging in the scrap cupboard, I heard a plaintive cry " She never looks in our little bag, Can you tell me why? " A voice replied, "We're old and tatty, A little bit worn out, Our colours dull, our fibres matted, Now don't give me that pout!" "But I want to be a 'Sibolette', I really, really do! To be part of a Sibol, Made by the lovely Sue. It's my destiny, my dream, my fate!" The voice was getting higher, "I may be old but it's never too late, I'm not ready to retire". "Oh gosh", I thought, That sounds like me, Slightly worn, with a dodgy knee. So I'm off to college, A Diploma to gain And the voices of the Lost Stash? "Sibolettes" they became!
